After winning the toss and electing to bat first, George Balderson (56) and Jamie Crawley (30) played very well for Lancashire and got the side off to a fast start.
The pair put on 53 for the first wicket. Ed Fluck (11) and George Lavelle (28), who scored at a run a ball, continued Lancashire's positive start with the visiting side on 115/3.
Sam Perry (56) impressed for the Red Rose and along with Tom Bailey (28*), Sam Dorsey (15) and Rehan Udwadia (13*), helped Lancashire post 264/9 from 50 overs.
The Oman Development XI also got off to a fast start, but Lancashire's fielding was excellent throughout.
Opening batsman Syed Taha hit a quick fire 47 but it was first teamer Jordan Clark who dismissed him to leave Oman 66/2.
Lancashire went on to take wickets with Muhammad Ahmad taking 3/35, Jack Morley 2/20 and Udwadia 2/28 as Gary Yates side bowled Oman out for 151 in the 35th over.
