Following Pete's funeral a week last Monday, I have been contacted by Lillian, who has asked me to thank you for your attendance and messages of condolence, and for making the day itself a suitable tribute to one of Hyde's greatest servants.
Lillian also wanted to thank those who made generous donations.
In total you gave £944.05, which the family made up to £1,000.00, sending £500.00 to each of the chosen charities, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
