Half and Half

Hyde CSC Squash 1st Team finished off the first half of the season with win a comprehensive 5-0 against bottom of the table Neston 1st Team to leave them in 6th place, exactly half way up the league.

With just the two Steve's dropping games this was a straight forward evening for Hyde with all five of the team playing well. Steve Gregory played some of his best squash of the season so far and George Parker in particular showing some real class in his entertaining win over the Welsh number 2 Emry Evans.

As we enter the Christmas break at the halfway point of the season Hyde will be more than happy with their mid-table position. Hard work and good team spirit has enabled them to clinch some fine victories including a memorable one of the current league champions, David Lloyd Chorley.
