The Cheshire County League has announced the postponement of all first round fixtures for 2024 season.
First and second team fixtures scheduled for 20 April will now be played on Sunday 15 September.
The third team fixture scheduled for 22 April will be re-arranged in due course.

The season at Hyde will now commence Sat 27 April...

After consultation with clubs and a Grounds Chair assessment received this week, the first round of fixtures will be postponed to Sunday 15th September.
The final weekend of the 2024 season will now be a 'double header' as the record rainfall in February has left a significant number of clubs with pitch preparation issues.
The 3rd XI schedule for 21st April is similarly affected, David Gane will be making alternative arrangements and will communicate these separately.
We hope that the early communication of the one-off postponement allows clubs extra preparation time to resume the normal schedule on week two and thank the officials involved for their assistance in reaching the decision in the interest of all the CCCL clubs.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the Pre-Season Meeting at Warrington CC on 10th April.
