The club have taken the decision to make this important investment for two main reasons. Last season there had been a frequent loss of display on the existing facia due to an unrepairable, intermittent fault....And...To meet new ECB Premier League requirements, all scoreboards have to have *DLS displayed.

This conversion included:

1. The removal of the old fascia and installation of a brand new boards.

2. New LED Technology

3. Existing features were incorporated into a new design as follows:

Total -Wkts - Batsman number - Batsman runs - Last wicket - 1st INNS - Overs

NEW FEATURES;

Runs required - DLS

The club have also renewed their licence with YouTube cricket broadcaster NV Play. This feature required a number of hardwiring and connectivity improvements at the club which have been undertaken at a significant cost this winter. This means that our Saturday home matches will once again streamed to our supporters far and wide.

*DLS stands for the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method, a mathematical formula used in limited-overs cricket to calculate target scores for the team batting second when matches are interrupted by rain or other delays.
