Quick Defeat

Hyde 4ths took a beating on Thursday night with top end injuries taking their toll. Pete Davies was up first taking his beating while Neil Turnbull was on court 2 taking his. Andy Berry followed Pete and managed to take the first game but it was all down hill from there as Andy was sucking in all the contents of the courts air supply for the following 3 games losing 3-1. Phil Robinson was on after Neil and having beaten his opponent twice in the past there was a little hope, false hope in the end, Phil lost 3-0. Finally young Steve Korny went on court and gave 100% in his battle to try and gain some points, however, it was a 3-0 defeat for Steve but he did get 1 point for being a junior. Hopefully next week some players will return and the 4ths can start a winning streak.
